Qilla Merry Quetta, Balochistan Pakistan.
Qila merry is located in Quetta city near Gora Qabristan Quetta, Cantt. It is said that once Hazrat Salman passed through this city at that time there was nothing and he was with his caravan of Jin and Shayateen, and he said there will be a city and this place (Qilla Merry) will be the center of that city, well guess what it is the center of the Quetta city.
It is said that he was on his journey some where and they stop here for some time, for there stay they build Qila Merry. Haazrat Salman ordered his Jin and Shayateen to put there one hand full of dirt and they did that.
Imagine the no. of participants involved, and one participant just put one fist full of dirt only and the result is the fort.
During the British rule this place was opened and some ancient artifacts were found there including Hindu God's and things of use. At that place there was also a mosque, temple and church and the thing in it were made of gold,when British left they also took them and during there rule this place was used to put machinery and guns etc.
well the use of this place was not different in Muslim and other rules. Now a days this Qila is under control of army and i did not know whether people are allowed to visit this place or not but my last home was near this place and i used to watch it regularly.
I don't know why people don't visit and admire these historical places and take advantage of our local and ancient knowledge and artifacts.
